Hi all,
Im looking to pick up a GQ 4.2 Turbo already tricked out which most of them are. Ive only ever had newer cars so havent had to many issues to date. Can anyone give advice on good things to look out for when trying to pick one up and obvious signs or tells of ones to stay away from.
Cheers, Chris

Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

Gday mate...welcome to the fold
Might wanna jump over and paste your question on the general chat thread found on the main forum page.
I'm a first time GQ owner...some things I found...
The rear window frames rust out, steering boxes can leak, can get rust around the rear shoulders and gutters. Steering parts need to be in tip top shape or you will get the 80km/h thumpin death wobbles. never realy had any problems exept for the rear windows rusting out...
Hope you find the info your looking for.

Welcome to the forum mate and feel free to ask any questions.
As above post questions in a different section as a lot of folk don't read the intros.
