The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Interesting. Both my front calipers have no clips, or brake gear of any kind, just the pads and that's it.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
wow really the pads arent (sloppy/movin) around in the caliper

thats them yer they help push the pad down on the rotor im pretty sure. riped the twin calipers off today the are missing clips too, FML lol im im still going to use them nissian newby two post down added a parst store ive never heard pf before just looked and yea is 57 + 20 postage for single genuine shim kit or its 63 + 20 for the twin pot shim kit so im just gona bit the bullet and get the twin pot setup running and ill try to sell the old single piston calipers and rotors. thanks for looking for me your a champ.
No, none of those are on mine, so some slack arse has ditched them before I got the vehicle. I will have to get a set and fit them.

yer probily be in your best intersets other wise same thing y happen to yours the pad rides up and the rotor wears a groove into the pad.
nissiannewby put me onto (partsouq.com) these guys half the price of nissian and patrolapart single piston caliper rebuild kit for both front calipers ($200 from nissian, $170 plus post from patrol apart and these guys want $57 plus $20 postage) and there all genuine parts and prices.
