Yep good point MB. Might look to do that. Still only a half done job but tools down for tonight. Was glad to finally see the wiring on the inside of the vehicle after mucking around with it all afternoon.

Best to make sure you’ve got a suitable size elecy fuse in the cab too for added peace of mind. Never ceases to amaze me out there what sneaky trackside flora tries to do to our trucks :-)

I think the first tree branch coming down the side of your truck is going to hook thru that wiring and tear it out. If you don't do much close quarter brushy stuff this might be OK, but would not think it would last long in Vic high country. The cable needs to be better protected for over here. Hiding it behind a snorkle as MB showed initially is perhaps the better concept. Hope this helps!!

Thanks PB. It is pulled in against the car now and the roof rack sits out proud of that so will probably lose the work light and get some serious pin striping if it catches the wiring. Will see how it goes. Simpson desert is the most immediate trip I am getting prepared for and should not be an issue out there.
