Just here to introduce myself. I致e been an avid reader since I purchased my 1990 Maverick last year. I致e been doing lots of upgrades and repairs since then, and while I have purchased a service manual on a CD rom, sometimes it helps to know how others are doing things on their cars. Loving the vibe of this forum.
Love the visor mate. Had one on my gu until a truck blew it off! Now sitting warped in the shed. They are great for touring, not so much for hills.

Ha ha! Yep, I love the look of the visor too. It came on the car when I bought it, and despite my concerns about extra wind drag and fuel use, I’m keeping it on there.
I happen to have a spare visor that a 4WD club member gave me if you’re interested, but I think the postage to Victoria would not be worth it.

It’s for a GQ though so no good for your GU.
