Rear sway bar extension?
Reposting as I originally posted in general not GU/GR section...
Evening All,
So my lift kit for our 09 GU that we are setting up has finally arrived and will be installed next weekend. I'm wondering if the rear sway bar extension is necessary on a 2 inch lift?
Would rather have it here ready and bolt in straight in than find out I need it once everything else is done.
Cheer Andrew.

Andrew, yes there is a kit for this. some people dont bother with it though. When the lift is in, the sway bars need to be parallel with the road pretty much. I would guess they would be pointing upwards with the lift in. What this is doing is putting the sway bar under extra tension when flexing, as a result you will destroy the sway bar joints faster, have less flex, and even run the risk of snapping the sway bar.
