These things happen when you don't take the appropriate care on the beach. It looks so easy when you are on the beach but as said conditions change very quickly and you become unstuck.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.

Is that at double island point?? If you go into the pub at rainbow beach, there is literally a wall of photos of clowns who've tried to get around the headlands on the incoming tide.
Sad to see, but if you take the risk, expect to wear bruises!!

If in doubt don't go there. IMHO the guy holding the car is standing in the wrong spot. A freek wave could push him under the car. Waves are coming in.
