    I just use zip ties on the caravan with the alloys. I don’t bother on my GU steelies that I replaced my alloys with.

    the main reason your seeing them so much is all the major construction projects require them to be fitted to any vehicle before its inducted to come onto site

    If you see them on utes or 4by's usually they are company owned fleet vehicles and they are used because of their over active OH&S officer. If you are concerned about the nuts coming loose, do as cuppa suggested, use a whiteout pen, or a black sharpie.

    well i have to say that used a white out pen on the end of each nut, it stays on & remains visible & is easily taken off with a wire brush if the nuts are ever undone, this is great idea i never have...
