    New Mudslipper tyre covering

    Mudslipper.jpg

I have been trialling the latest addition to the 4wd accessory market, the YOKO ONO Mudslipper. Its a clip on layer of mud that is supplied to suit tyres up to 33" diameter. The benefits include strategic release of the soil from your tyres when you first reach the bitumen, hence immediately improving traction, its quiet so does not disturb the wildlife, has a 9/10 environmental responsibility rating as it retains and transfers organisms to new areas for recolonization, works with all soil and bitumen types, restricts speed off road and conserves track surfaces and generally makes driving a more enjoyable activity. I have been running these for the past 2 weeks and can say, they deliver on all of the above. No warranty return on these babies. I understand there is another model that can build up to an even greater thickness, so perfect for those comp truck guys. I got mine on 'WISH' and they were in hand within 24 hours, ex Korea. Free shipping, only $19.05 a set of 4. Get onto them.

I think someone has finally lost the plot...

of land, because his tyres have carried it all away.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

They look great Phil! What tools are needed to fit them? Hopefully just a small allan key. Do fitting instructions come in the box?

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

They are configured with velcro, and a single use rice paper tarp that you can eat afterwards - nice touch I thought, but a bit dry.
