Wife bought me a new rear bar as an early birthday present!!

Then had to make new mudflaps , the old bar had mudflaps as part of the bar, I couldn’t really buy anything wide enough without making it look like a Mack truck so hopefully the police will see that I’ve made some sort of effort!!

I had a look at the Gigglepin website - very impressive, total beasts been developed for sure, now know why the upgrades are so popular with the enthusiast

    Top stuff always Dave mate!
Run your air new spool in/out half-dozen times back home to debugger/new free up, +76 great things
Top blokes also taught me to not get greedy on rope volume and enjoy the spool offside when desperate

Added a new steering wheel, put the stock wheel in the bin and fitted this one out of a NX coupe, looks and feels so much better

Then carpeted the side board I made up against the fridge, then added a hinged shelf to gain more storage and being able to access the wings underneath

Then added a strip light under the emuwings

My freespool has to come from the UK so won’t be here until the end of September
But have ordered more stuff, Bow motor and Albright solenoid, bus bars, I’ll post pics when they arrive

Round 2 of winch bits turned up today, Bow2 motor, genuine Albright, Albright loom, Bus bar kit and extended bolts to mount the Albright on the end of the motor.
Fitted up everything to my top hat tonight, the tops complete, just need two more bits to turn up and I can put the winch together and muscle it into the bar.

The best thing about the bus bars is I just need to add power and earth and the wirings done!!

Bought the bars from Smithi Engineering, Australian company who is the Australian distributor for Gigglepin, they have a couple of different types but won’t suit all motors.

You can find them here: https://smithiengineering.com/collec...rs-motor-bolts

Put some kms on the old jalopy last weekend, went and took in the Silo art trail, was a great way to break up the drive

Then stayed at Wyperfeld for the night, drove out the next day taking in some sites and actually engaging four wheel drive, high range but still four wheel drive!!

After doing 1200kms in 2 days it was time for an upgrade in the seating department, Recaros!!
So much nicer to sit in than the stock GQ seats
