    TD, I don't mind the look of your set-up, covers all corners I reckon. I am going to hang onto the blanking plate also as the green LED is no doubt fading as it could be 20 yrs old - who knows. Will keep this option in mind as i think the clock face would go close to fitting in the dash clock hole as well.

    @PeeBee I have another clock quartz down near the speedo , No way I can read that LCD OE clock
    cost about $6 I think
