Yep you're at the point now where you get another drain flange and ensure a clean surface on turbo 100% clean just gasket. Pain yes but at least you can eliminate a lot of ???? And go from there.

had this on a 3 litre. the pipe flange warped was flattened but kept warping. ended up replacing the pipe

Yeah strange. If I was you I would clean 100% and get a new flange. Even a straight down flange with hose to block and go from there.
Not expensive and worth a try for sure.

Im thinking warpage too because the pipe is a soft metal. The turbo is a harder metal
cause if you look at the turbo side where the flanges join. Theres nothing to it. Drain hole. Flat surface and two bolt holes.

Im looking on ebay I cant find that same one. Are all turbo oil return line size on the flange universal?
