    Just a week ago I repacked my recovery gear and checked my snachy which has only been used a couple of times. It is in perfect condition and I have had it for about 8 years, no damage whatsoever ever.
    Checked my tow strap at the same time no issue.
    I think if you look after your gear and keep it out of the sun it should be good for 10 years at least.

    I will be changing my gear soon so even though it has not had a real lot of use
