factory diff lock VS shimmed LSD
So I have a GQ TI and have a factory rear diff lock , the diff lock doesn't work and I haven't looked into it (probably something simple) but anyways, the gear ratio is 3.9 and I have another set of diffs (4.11 ratio) with the rear LSD which I have shimmed with a 0.55 shim
My question is which is the better option? should I keep with the factory locker and sort out why its not working or swap it out for the limited slip?
im intrested to hear your thoughts!!!!
post edit:
I should probably add its a td42 turbo manual 33's

Swap out for the better ratio and the LSD is great in the Patrol. Go the front locker while you swap out.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I am he, fear me
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
