    Tips/help with egr plate

I know there is alot of other posts about the egr plate but i couldnt find one to help me.
Ive seen on other posts about there being 2 bolts to loosen and then slide the plate down etc

Haynes booklet shows it as 2 bolts

Now the problem ive got is that there is 3 bolts (see attached pictured)
And upon loosening them off there was no movement on the housing therefore i was unable to slide the plate into place.
I gave it a few gentle taps with a persuasion bar but there was no persuading it to budge. Im guessing that just the constant heat over the years has made it tougher to move.

    Am i doing something wrong?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    More persuasion required...
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Is the plate you have to suit where you are showing? Usually the plate sold on Fleabay etc suit the cast EGR pipe where it bolts to the inlet manifold. Much easier there. Just remove the two bolts, get a long screw driver or similar and pry the pipe open just enough to slip out the gasket and in the plate.
