    Would water affect them in anyway? Say snatching car submerged in water?

    No. No issue at all. I hate Sntach straps though. If the car is deep then a winch should be used.

    Knots are a primary foundation of my job. And we have kilometres of 12mm rope at work ...
    Guess what I'll be trying to make with some "offcuts" next week.

    Also knots 3D is another good one. Both are good cos you can pause it and go one step at a time or back steps while you do it.
