$40k 4.2 Wagon
Just passing on from another forum - no connection.
$40k 110K kms
Looks v clean in the photos.
Lot of money for a 14 year old car, but how often does a 4.2 with that sort of mileage come up these days?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

That's awesome but it was a GUIV. That ad is for a GUIII. Insane price for a GU3.

Insane price for a GU3, 4, 5 or 10. They are an old outdated 12/13 year old vehicle if you ask me but people are paying that kind of money so why not...lol

I can't believe the price tags that are still attached to these things, irrelevant of what series they are lol.
Makes me feel good owning a 05 with 105k on the clock, but I wonder if I was in the market for one right now, would I pay that much...

When I bought mine it had 98k on it. I stumbled on it at my local yard the same day I decided I would buy a 4.8TI cause I couldn't find one. My wife was confused because the 4.8TI was full leather. Wood grain. Flip down DVD, Factory GPS, sun roof and was about $7k cheaper???????
Why do we want this? Well it's a TD42Ti!! It's a no brainer!! We Must Buy this. In 5 years it will hold its value way better than the 4.8. Trust me.
That was 10 years ago. And i could buy a 4.8 for 12k today. Maybe.
TD. She's a keeper.

I've had my 2005 4.2tdi for 10 years and put 130k on it, 35k on it when I bought it for $50k, so currently 165k kms. Spent maybe $30k on "boys" bits, wouldn't sell it for quids, unless someone wants to make me an offer I can't refuse!
Boys bits include bars at both ends, twin elockers, 43% reduction gears, drawers, winch etc .......... full details here
Time Marches On .....and on ..... and on
