Belvo Twin locked gu coilcab re build
After selling my gq coilcab I needed another patrol asap so found this 99 gu coilcab in rough condition but with heaps of extras so jumped right on to it.
It is a 99 dx coil cab td42 twin locked 4.6 diff gears warn high mount 5 inch lift custom bullbar and tray.
The paint was terrible on the car when I got it most of it was peeling and surface rust on the roof.
Also had a bent tierod arm some flogged out bushes and leaking swivel hub.
So far I have stripped back all the flogged paint and fixed any rust and dents
Ordered new tierod extended bump stops new paint sound deadening and underlay
And a few other things.

The paint was terrible striped back the roof in no time and most of the doors and bonnet.
Painting it with lic40 so should be nice and durable once it's done.

Installed a new steering arm today and 80 series extended bump stops.
Tried to install the rear bump stops. But every bolt was snapped so will have to sort that out.
And also discovered my shocks are are in need of updating. If anybody has shocks to suit a 5 inch lift let me know.
