    Sway bar disconnect and bushes

    Hi all,
Couple of things here. I need to replace front control arm bushes and have been quoted around the $400 mark to have it done with me supplying the new bushes. Dose this sound reasonable?
Second thing is looking at how the suspension works I reckon disconnecting the sway bars off road would greatly increase the stress on my bushes. Is this extra stress worth worrying about. Would it reduce the life of the control arm bushes buy much? Is disconnecting sway bars worth the effort and extra wear?
