Hi Ya all,

wow, what a great forum, with so much info and passionate Patrol people.

I'm in sunny Brisbane in QLD and have just bought a 2004 ZD30DDTI Nissan Patrol, 5-speed manual, in really great shape.
I also have got myself a 2.3T caravan and looking at options to add more power for towing and fuel economy, without breaking the bank.

I have read about the remapping and aftermarket chips available, as it's not a common rail desiel, so what I've been told, i cant remap the ECU, but have to add a chip in.
I've also all the "other issues" with the engine, the infamous "grenade " effect, that probably needs attention.

I'm a bit bamboozled by it all, any advice/ experiences on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
