Hey mate just a few questions for ya:
What manifold and turbo did you use?
How much pressure are you running through it?
How much better is a turbo td42 to drive on the highway and on the beach? At the moment my NA can hardly get 110😀.
Definitely looking at turboing mine very soon..
    Cheers

I got onto a second hand DTS kit running 12psi (wastegate pressure) still with the factory non boost compensated pump.
It is the BEST thing you could ever do to a TD42 i can run along the highway at 110 with the ac on and still put my foot down and overtake easily.
also as an added bonus im using less fuel normal highway and heaps less fuel when there is a cross wind.
I got on average 14.5 L/100 from Cunnamulla to Lithgow 880km thats from flat wide open plains all the way into the blue mountains with the rooftop tent all still and not driving for economy

I reckon that orientation is a winner, acts as a rear awning which is awesome.

yeah thats what i thought to but iv noticed that i wont be able to put my side awning back on without it sticking way to far out, might just bite the bullet and buy a rear awning
