    TB45E main fuel tank

    Hi all. My bus is a dual fuel set up and the LPG tank is due for its ten year service and the converter needs to be replaced. Coming in at around the grand mark I thought of ditching the gas and putting a main petrol tank back in. My question is are all main tanks equal?
    Would a tank from a diesel model of the same year '98. be interchangeable with a petrol model? Or would I need to source a tank from my exact model?
    Cheers.

    Interchangeable from GQ and GU models but no the Utes. Rear 95lt tank is the same across the range and you should get one for free. Sub Tanks are not interchangeable though but any GU wagon will fit a GU wagon.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    If you aren't fussed on new, I have seen aftermarket long range tanks going for between $500 - $1000 second hand.

    New, not much more...
