Good Patrol mechanic in WA
OK so here goes my first question...
I live in Bunbury WA and Im looking for a decent GQ mechanic ideally in Bunbury but will go wherever for someone who knows their stuff.
Ive only had this GQ for a month (RB30 EFI, 240kms), and it seems to have a flat spot when taking off (not ideal) and surges a bit when taking off.
It feels like there is plenty of power there as once it gets to 1200-1500 rpm it really takes off, even spins the wheels sometimes.
Top end speed is not what it should be either. Foot floored I can only go 12km/hr max on the flat.
So I got it serviced and tuned when I first got it thinking this would sort it out but to no avail.
After a bit of reading I think I may be having dramas with my electronic throttle control.
What do the resident experts think?
Happy to hear your opinions, and if anyone knows a decent mechanic in my neck of the woods please sing out, backyard or workshop ok.
Cheers
