    Windscreen washer motors

    Hi

I have a GQ Y60 hard top '91. I ordered new washer motors and bottle as my washers don't work.

As you can see from the following photo (new not-yet-installed washer bottle on top, old currently installed washer bottle below), the green motor is on a different side on my vehicle compared to the new assemble.

My question is where there is any difference between the front and back motors (I assume the green and shit are front and back) and whether I should change the motors around to match what's in the cvehicle (which has never worked since I bought the vehicle). The connection pin arrangement is different on each of the motors so I suspect they don't want me to use them interchangeably

    Cheers
    Paddy

Only reason they are different is so that the plugs don't get swapped IE front motor runs when the front washer is selected.

I'd leave the motors and swap the water tubes but either works
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

In mine, they appear to be identical, plugs & the motors. I'll have to double check though.

Yeah as ET says. From memory I think they have some sort of coloring on the hoses to match them up to as well . . If all else fails try it out then swap hoses if need be. .
