Managed to get a set of manual hub locks off a local to replace my dodgy auto hubs...off a tojo owner at that...secret closet Nissan lubber me thinks...
One was seized and the other had lost the ball out of the locking yoke. Salvaged a bearing ball out of an old bike that matched existing and had to grind and file down the center toggle and circlip to get it to turn smooth...must have sustained some damage as the circlip was binding hard with the toggle not allowing it to turn.
Bit of filing, grinding, destroying bike parts, cleaning and careful reasembly and I got my front end turning again...
