    Arb have their Linx system as well, it would be handy if you have 54 thousand switches on your dash,

    I have recently gone to the dark side & now drive a V6 Amarok, it comes automated, it even turns down the radio when you put in reverse.
    I still have my Patrol wagon as the Amarok is work ute.

    2 me that would be annoying as, why would anyone want their radio turning down every time they put it reverse?

    Can you actually write some code on these things?
    I've wanted to use a little micro plc to control a few things for a while.

    If I was starting to set up a new vehicle and could foresee a need for a heap of switches it would be awesome. The ARB one is swishhhoo! But my vehicles are all but done could not justify the conversion.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    I highly doubt it Benny, I could not see anyone like Redarc or ARB allowing it.

    Build your own using Arduino if u want the ability 2 code

    I was thinking more industrial for a controller for the stuff I've had in mind for some time now, including security. But if this has huge capabilities I would consider automotive specific controllers.

    It probably wouldn't be hard to rig something up. My home automation system runs on 12VDC

    Set up isn't the issue, it's the real estate it takes up that is the issue more than anything. I'd probably have to make a new dash to fit it and be accessible to work on
