Plenty of room under that tray for either a water tank or air tank.
Pretty sure TJM do a slide out shelf for the rear.
Loving the build keep the Mods coming thinking 3" exhaust
    to unleash some ponies lol
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Yeah definitely a 3" straight thru when the turbo is on.
I'm probably gonna move the TL tray on and custom build my own one when the cash is available.
    Cheers

Had 3 exhaust studs snap on me
Had to drill them out and retap them after snapping 2 ezy outs.
    Anyway, bring on the turbo...

    Fitted the turbo on Satday:
Ran the oil feed from the hole between the engine mount

Decided to run the oil drain to a tee in the alt/vac pump drain. I'd heard about the oil backing up story but that highmounts would be fine. In the end I just couldn't be bothered taking the sump off.

Just need to add an exhaust, and she's finished(well, almost)

    Temporary inlet piping setup:
    20181203_173838.jpg
Can't wait to get her up and spooling

Funny thing happened...I decided to start her up and get the oil flowing through..All of a sudden I noticed black and white smoke puffing from the turbo pretty badly. I tried to give her a bit of a rev and she wouldn't rev past 1500, and heaps of black smoke. Suddenly I remembered the rag in the inlet pipe

    Now the piping is installed:

Took it for a drive without the exhaust...definitely a difference already.
Noticed the clutch start to lose its feel. I reckon it might have been the hot exhaust heating the clutch lines...what do you think?
Where did you guys run your PCV breather hose to?

I would change those clamps to HD units as the rubber will get hot and warm and blow them off. Also, make sure the metal joiners have lips so the hose can clamp down on the tube piece. Better still hard pipe it, you won't have a problem then, I have been down this track before and its basically a path to frustration. At least you have a clear mock up for permanent piping though.

Yeah cheers peebee. I just don't reckon theres a hope.in hell of them coming off..getting em on and adjusted took 2 people using all their might!😀
Also I'll soon add an intercooler so the piping will be changed anyway.

Got a full stainless 3 inch straight thru done at mettams. Damn impressive even with no fuel adjustment
Runs cooler than before. Now how do you turn the fuel up on a standard pump?

Dont know of anyone else has tried this?I threw a fibreglass turbo blanket on today and wrapped the dump pipe in exhaust wrap. Made a huge difference in water temp. The underbonnet temps are way cooler now as well. Didnt know it would do so much for me😀. Ill post as ome pics of it tomorow.
    Cheers
