Hi
Just wanted to say gday from Sydney. Ive been in and around Nissan Patrols since the first GQ's in 1988. Mum had one, and I was 8 years old. She replaced it with a newer ST in 1994, which was a real luxury fourbie back then. When i got my drivers licence in 1996, my first car was a 1988 GQ SWB, two tone navy on silver, manual 4.2 Petrol. Loved it. Its nickname was "The Chunk". I went on to own another GQ Shorty, 1992, White, Auto, 4.2 Petrol. Onsold that one, and eventually upgraded to a GU in 2007. Great car, my first Diesel, 3.0Lt, Auto. I have just purchased my latest Patrol, a 2012 GU DX ute. Absolutely love it. The list of mods is bigger than my wallet though. Looking forward to sharing and learning from the forum.

Patrol Freak
Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
