    I didn't have time to have a good look today as my mate had the car doing work on it but did notice that the clutch isn't vacuum assisted. but since doing the brake my mate recon there are awesome. compaired to his 80. Will investigated further tomorrow.

    Agreed mate!
    As much ‘Vacuum Assist’ as possible down steep hills!

    EDIT: Entrust in your wise gear selection prior to any ‘mongrel steep descent’ above touching brakes! Some tracks have severe ‘hairpin’ turns needed where safe stoppage is needed for reverse and realign where vacuum assist is crucial IMHO :-) !

    All good I do have a small one that is connected to the brakes. sitting right there infront of me.

    so i am just wondering if you could just get rid of the canister to free up some room and just run some rubber hose or is the canister important?

    Its a reservoir to give you a capacity in case you have a number of vacuum depleting actions. If you remove it, you are left only with what is in the rubber hoses - I would leave it alone and find another way forward if it was me.
