TB42 to TD42 transplant swap complete diffs or centres?

    G'day, I'M doing a TB42 to TD42 conversion, mostly on my own.
I need to change the difs over because of the ratios, question is, is it easier to remove centres and swap? or unbolt complete diff and wrangle those over?

if you just do the centres you have to pull the axles and will then put a kit through the front swivel hubs which is not a bad thing. If your going to go to the trouble of a Diff swap i'd be fitting GU DIffs not GQ ones. What are the ratios differences you have there? from what to what?

Drive it on those ratios and save and source some GU Diffs and swap them over.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
