I'm down to the cosmetics on this build. This is the last of those impossible to source parts. Anybody got one with or without boots?
As you can see the previous owner butchered this to mount his winch control. It's too bloody ugly to reuse.

Have you tried bundaberg Toyota wreckers. They have random patrols there sometimes. A few mates have have randomly had success on some harder to find trim items

That is a Highly sort after item. They come up on face book occassionally and you could pretty well name your price. Good luck finding a decent one. If you were so inclined you could use that to make a mould and start making them for profit. there is a market for them for sure.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Thanks for that bloke. Did try the wrecker on the north side, no luck there. Have yet to try the mob closer to Childers but never had any joy from them previously.
Will ring about again.

Nah, I've got some more important stuff at the moment and not funneling any money into it. Just needs bolt ons and install really.
