    Battery terminal "double adaptor"

Probably a silly question, but is there such a thing as a battery terminal double adaptor? Something that bolts onto the terminal and provides two post for connections. I haven't been able to find anything like this in the myriad of connectors available.

Might be but I've not seen one.

There is this if it suits your use tho https://vetco.net/products/knife-swi...nswitched-post

Post to multiple terminal bolt up adapters are very common in pairs or even 4 or 6 terminal...

Then there are the Battery themselves...
Any amount of multiple terminal batteries (post and bolt AKA Group 31, post and thread or double thread) but dual post are very rare and the only one I've seen had the 2nd posts on the side so may be a hassle to mount assuming they are still made.

Thanks folks. Neither is exactly what I am looking for, but both are definite possibilities. The knife switch sounds like a good idea for the winch and looks like it will handle the load.

    Yep. Been there, done that.
Did that early in my search but unable to find what I thought would be a common thing - a simple 'double adaptor'.
Still haven't found them, but the earlier suggestions are workable alternatives if nothing shows up.

If the above suggestion by the evil twin /knife-switch-battery-disconnect-with-unswitched-post is not the type of battery terminal you are looking for then have a look at below URLs.

    https://www.ozautoelectrics.com/aerp...-terminal.html
    https://www.ozautoelectrics.com/19mm...r-outputs.html

If that is not what you are searching for then it would be helpful if you can draw a sketch of the adapter and load it here.

As prev posted, I've not seen a dual SAE Terminal Adapter.

Quite a while back I did work on some Yank stationary plant that used this config https://www.expeditionexchange.com/o...y003%20008.jpg
That type of battery case is readily available from most manuf, Optima, Exide, Platinum etc etc

There is a rarer but more conventional version with both terminals on top (an SAE post screws into the pad to give twin Posts)
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
