VL rb30 Automatic to manual

Hey guys just wondering if an automatic VL rb30 bolts straight into the existing gq rb30 manual gearbox with no problems.

Obviously you need to swap the flywheel over to the VL engine from the old GQ engine.

Starter motors are the same(or similar) and should bolt in without issues.
While you're at it examine the flywheel & have it machined and put a new clutch if necessary.

I've heard GQ oil sump being deeper and bigger(GQ apparently hold bit more oil than a VL or Skyline RB30. Don't quote me on that though, as I am not sure).
Dunno whether you have to swap over the sumps though.
I would've thought the VL RB30 being made for the VL RB30 engine should stay, but you'll find out whether there are
minor structural differences that might get in the way when a VL RB30 engine is fitted to a GQ.
