    Engine dying

Whilst driving i loose all throttle response of my td42t. The engine is still running and no warning lights come on. After dropping down a few gears and multiple attempts on the accelerator it seems to kick back into life and run fine again. The problem is intermittant but seems to be getting worse. Please help

Mate I don’t have a td but I’d start with filters, both fuel and air if you haven’t already done so.
    Cheers

who serviced it, yourself or a shop? do you know the fuel filter was actually changed if form a shop? brand of fuel filter? was it doing this prior to the service, or on after the service. any fuel leaks/ wet spots on any of the fuel lines and injector lines? Do you get fuel from the same place? did this start happening after filling up etc etc etc.

First thing I would do is change the fuel filter again. and drain the fuel from the old filter into a glass jar and see what its like. Then go from there.
