    Mitchell River crossing on the New Dixie Rd just north of Dunbar Station. The photo does not do it justice as it was over knee deep and flowing fast in early August so it would have bee rather impressive earlier in wet season.

    This would be one of the scariest crossings I've seen it's on the Daly river and called the Oolloo crossing ,someone had been through it but flood damage in a few spots make depth about one metre if you drive too close to the downstream side .
    Fair strength current flowing as well .IMG_2693.JPG

    In W.A. there is a sub specii of Wombat that is aquatic and digs Wombat Holes in Swamps.
