I have this Ozito gasless MIG that usually take small 500-700g flux core wire reels.
I just realized it is possible to fit the bigger 4.5kg-5kg one to it space wise.
Only issue that I'm facing atm is that the wire won't quite line up with horzontal feed liner on the machine as in the picture below. Below gumtree machine is the one I have.
Bunnings guy said they would work with 'adapter' thing at the back of the fitting where the reel fits(to match the hole size of the larger spool with shaft on the machine), but I still have the above question of the bigger reel not quite lining up with the line feeder.
Or am I overthinking here, 'cos the wires are mild steel flexible wire and they will find the way to the feeder without any extra tension or bending?

the weight difference might cause you issues with the rollers breaking if it can only handle the smaller reels i would ring manufacturer in case its under warranty
