ABS Issues
I have a 2011 Nissan Patrol wagon. On 7th December last year I was happily driving to work when the all of a sudden it dropped back into 3rd gear and the ABS light came on. So it was sent to my mechanic who assumed it was a gear box fault. So we took it to a gear box specialist who after 3 months found that some of the wiring in the harness was corroded (gear box in perfect order). I drove the car home the 600kms and after two weeks the ABS light comes back on and then the after a few days it drops back to 3rd gear again. So in early March we took it to an auto electrician (as our mechanic had spoken to the gear box specialist and they decided it was electric) - he rang me last week to say that they have replaced all of the sensors and checked all of the wiring and the fault is still coming up. He says to come and get it because they don' know what is wrong with it. We are at a complete loss!! I live in remote WA and there arent many auto electricians are. Has anyone had this problem and do you know of who I can contact to help?? I am more than happy to take it back to Perth if I need to.

Id give Wholesale automatics a call here in Vic and ask them. I'm sure they would have seen this issue before.
