Diff oil question

Hi all,

First time replacing the driveline oils on the gu scince ive had it. I got vmxm for the gearbox and dextron 3 for the transfer. My problem is i grabbed castrol "axle limited slip 90" for the rear diff as it was the only limited slip i could see. Now checking the website i see they have axle limited slip 85w-140 which i was meant to get.

Whats the difference? Can i use what i bought or do i need to get the 85w 140?

the 85w 140 is quite a bit thicker than the 90 but you should be fine to use the 90 as its for an LSD
