    Mt Sunday Track

Heading into the High Country next weekend and was looking for some info on Mt Sunday Track I've heard it can be a bit of a winchfest which is fine but all the info I can get will help decide if I can take a couple of novice drivers onto it

    Thanks

I definitely would not take any novices on that track. @Rossco and I did it a few years ago with a mate of mine in who was driving a stock Pajero and it was a nightmare mission. We were totally taken off guard by that track but are still trying to find time to get back there.
Even very capable cars will end up winching at some stage on that track.

Yeah definatly NOT a track for novices. took us 7 hours last time cos we had a car that wasn't capable. We wanted to do it recently and found we couldn't get through because there were people that shouldn't have been there and was a train wreck. We ended up turning around, was spewn ended up in a pretty awesome spot later so would out well.
