New to 4x4 with an old rig

As per the title, I thought I'd introduce myself here.

I'm from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and have just bought my first 4x4, a GQ Patrol. Its pretty rough, so it needs a lot of work, mostly mechanical which will be patching up the body a bit, servicing the engine, rebuilding the front axle and then removing some "improvements" made by a previous owner, namely a big stereo and a cargo barrier. Once I'm done with all that I'm looking forward to getting it out into the country.

Any advice would be appreciated especially with regard to rebuilding the swivel hubs.

Thanks for the opportunity to join the community.

While I'm imposing with questions I've got a bit of a water ingress problem in the front seat areas drivers and passengers side. Any advice regarding potential culprits?

Thread bump as last post went into moderation

@Wonderer your better of starting new post in the correct section of the forum for your questions as not all members read the intro thread.
