Y60 alternator issue
Hi, just wondering if someone can help, my alternator has an intermittent fault where it outputs around 36v to my 24v system.

Sounds like the regulator is shot.

Have you checked the cables are secure on the alternator?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

G'day mate and welcome to the forum. Alternator - what @PeeBee said - regulator. I had a shot one on 12 volt system putting out 19 volts.
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder
