GQ & GU trays interchangeable?

Im pretty sure the GQ and GU coil cab chassis' are the same. Can anyone confirm this?

mate, there is so much interchangable stuff on the U's and Q's I cant see a reason for them to be different

They are pretty much the same chassis and the mounts are in the same location. The only thing you'd need to check is the clearance between the head board and the cab, with the U being a bigger cab, it may finish further to the rear than the Q

i think the widths are different as well as the axle widths are different

Hi, I may have been misinformed, but I got told the XL body from the GU ute wouldn't fit straight onto the GQ ute? How did you all go with establishing the difference between the GQ and GU ute chassis?

I couldn't see an issue with swapping the trays with some minor modifications.

I have a gq 2 and gu2 coil cabs both factory td42 tray width for the gu is wider wheel base and the chassis mounts over all are 80mm longer on the gu , can be done with mods,just my experience.
