General tire grabber A/T 2b
Brains trust,
Looking at new shoes for the ‘06 GU4 Ute, and the local tire place has recommended the General Grabber A/T 2. For a 265/70R17 $285 fitted and balanced per tire. Independent tire seller, with all the major brands, he said this is his biggest seller and runs them on his own patrol.
It’s a heavy Ute, and while we go off-road occasionally, the distances we travel to get there mean we are at least 70/30 tar/dirt. So,
Anyone running these tires and can give me their opinions on wear, Noise and performance on wet and dry roads? Price seem reasonable?(also includes free rotations every 5k)
Cheers

I run these on my Nav Ive had them on for 5 years now with a couple of big trips up the east coast under their belts, and they are great, I know its not on the Patrol but they seem good from my experience they are quiet on the road and wear is minimal so far and Ive put about 65000km on them, before I got the Patrol I used the Nav with these tyres on most of my trips to the High Country and only in the wettest conditions did they faulter from my experience they are a good tyre
