    TD42 Blowby Question.

    Hello Everyone,
I have a 89 TD42 with about 370,000km Turbo'd about 30,000km ago and i have noticed that its blowby is more noticable. Is there an acceptable amount? considering it was an N/A or should i get new piston rings? Ive ordered a compression kit to check compression which will give me a better idea. whats a normal compression range for the cylinders?

I found a video on Youtube that shows you guys a better idea of what i'm dealing with. I know that says its a "normal" amount, but i'm wanting more opinions.

    Thanks.

I think the Nissan specs are min 355psi to 420psi ish but you don't want a high difference between cylinders. Can't remember the exact percentage but very keen to see your results.

At this stage I wouldn't stress too much until you get the test done.
