New to the Patrol
Hi Guys.
Looking at buying a 2009 Patrol Ute (was told Series 6 by seller), about 100,000km. Any reasons I should run? Any specific problems associated with this model? All advice welcome. Thanks

Welcome to the forum Sara. A lot of people don't read the intro's so you might get better response if you post questions in a different section.
Best of luck with the new purchase!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

Hi Sara87.
New here too! I bought a 2008 ute (ST coil) new. Mainly country use, and I'm easy on the engine. I was uneasy with the 4 cylinder at first, and I don't believe it's as good as the six...
but, no issues other than it needed fuel filters regularly, I kept a spare in filter the back. At 208000K's it Needed new injectors. I was told I'd done well to get that much out of them.
Now done 265000K's and still goes hard. Mine got the EGR block and boost control mods at around 80000Ks, Definitely more power than my fathers 6 cyl, but turbo and exhaust gets really hot.
cheers
