    help please 1996 GQ RD28

    morning all i have 2 questions i need help with please.
    1 can you change water pump on a RD28 with out taking off the timing belt and injector pump pully ( owners manual says you have to) 2 has any body had any experience with the aluminium radiators off ebay they offer 30% better cooling thanks in advance

    According to previous research on the radiators argument copper transfers heat better than aluminium but only when in good nick , not sure of the 30% claim or how they back it up , brother in law installed an aluminium one in his petrol gas GQ to try and reduce the temps he was getting but claims there is next to no difference over the old one .

    the only reason about the radiator is the 1 in it at the moment the fins are choker blocked with sand and ive been quoted $120 to have it flushed inside and out thats if i pull it out and take it to them.
    or i can get a new Aluminium 1 for $200 delivered to me just thought new 1 was a better option
    previous owner must of done a fair bit of beech driving

    I'd do exactly what you're thinking of doing then .
