G'day
I have an 89 GQ TB42, it has rear disk brakes which I recently installed new pads. The lower bolt that you remove to swing the caliper up, broke when putting back in (didn't even get any tension). I am making an assumption that it was an old bolt, been tightened too many times (I may be wrong). I have purchased a new bolt (cost $26 + postage) and want to find out the correct torque. I have the "Nissan GQ Patrol Y60 1989 - 1997 Factory Workshop Manual", and the image for the rear brakes is not quite the same as on my Troll. My model year is 7/89, I'm wondering if this model is covered by an earlier Manual. Pic's attached - "DSC 0105" is actual, "Brake" is screenshot a Nissan dealer sent me (which reflects my brakes, but couldn't get torque setting) and "Rear Brakes" is from my manual. I have been told by everyone just to do it tight, but not too tight. It would be great to get the correct torque, if anyone can help.Brake.jpgDSC_0105_2.JPGRear Brakes.jpg
