    Headunit/offroad gps vms??

    Hi all.. just after some info please. Has anyone used the vms x506 in their gu's and if so are they any good? What other headunits are people using with inbuilt gps inc offroad maps? Tia 😀

    Just hope they're better than their portable units , I have both Hema and VMS , the VMS is used as a $700 paper weight and works brilliantly as such the Hema needs to go back for the second time to be fixed .
    Both units bought for $700 -$800 and now you can pick up either cheap as chips brand new .

    I've had a good run with my VMS portable unit. I was in Alice last year when it failed and after a phone call, they emailed me a file to restart it and perfect ever since.
    It was way out of warranty but still no problem
    At the end of the day, all you have is yourself and all you need is your friends (and in our case our Patrol)
