    Flex Ramp Build

    Hay all,
    I'm gonna build a flex ramp to start doing demos at our local car show. Anybody built one before or has designs or pictures of one. Also after any advise on how to do the calculation for you rti score. haven't really goggled it much yet. so any advise would be appreciated.

    I think the ramps are about 20 odd degrees.

    The maths is

    r=d/b×1000
    d=distance travelled up the ramp
    b=wheel base

    At tuff trucks they add wheel track to the formula, but I dont know how or where

    Are you going to do a bit of Trig (Cosine Rule) using 20 Deg as angle?
    Be mindful of your liability using the ramp and that it is deemed to be safe & suitable for its intended use. To cover yourself get a certified ramp or get your design and build certified. I am not an engineer.
