    Brake controllerbrake wire problem

Hey guys installed a redarc tow pro. Having a problem hooking up the brake wire. I planned to go off the pedal but the plug comes off and wiring disappears up into the dash with no excess to pull down on. I have already ran the blue trailer wire to the plug at the rear and don't really want to trap brakes from the rear. Is there somewhere else towards the front that I can grab it from.

    It's a 96 gq td42

    Cheers
    Alex

I just installed one to my car last weekend and I joined it into the wire coming off the pedal switch. During the week I was at a caravan repair centre and during our chat I mentioned how I just installed the Tow pro and he said I hope you ran a wire from your trailer plug back to the controller and not off the brake switch? I'm like um no, but will look into it. Lol

Hey mate, ran mine off the brake light switch too, just spliced it near the pedal. Must have had electric brakes at a previous time as just had spade terminals instead of the proper plug. Guess that's an option too. Mines GQ also BTW. . .

Yeah the blue wire runs down into the trailer plug. There is just no slack on my brake pedal switch even unplugging it. It just runs straight up towards the top f the dash. How did you join your wire because I may be able to use some spade terminals but was preferring to solder it
