    Heater hose path

    I have a 98 GU 2.8 TD
Can anyone tell me or even better post up some pics or a diagram showing where the heater hoses run from the firewall to the engine?
And where do the hoses connect on the engine?

The pipes were missing when I bought it and there appears to be nothing blocked off on the engine.

I would think that the heater core is stuffed, so it was blanked off. Try doing a google search : GU Patrol RD28 engine bay on images. I found quite a few pics that might be of use to you.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

That would be my guess too mudnut, I've bought a replacement and have fitted it. There are heaps of images but I can't tell which hoses are for the heater, they just looks like a mess of pipes.

If you've got some images that have labeled hoses so I know what is what, please can you post them or send to me?

This might help. Look for a hose that goes from the the head to the water inlet, without any components, other than an on-off tap (if that is even still fitted). That would be the way I would have blanked off the heater hoses and it keeps the water flow to the head.
